On Thursday, December 16, 2010, the Permian High School 50th Anniversary Celebration Committee met at Permian High School to give donations to the groups who performed for us at our big party. Satin Strings, Black Magic, Jr ROTC, Student Senate, and Panther Paws each received a check for $1800.00. We were so happy and excited that we were able to help these groups and show our sincere appreciation for all their work.

Bob Bailey (Permian Class of 1965) and his CPR Band will be performing for us on Saturday night Oct 9 from 8 pm to 12 pm for the Permian High School Anniversary Celebration.

The committee would like to thank Jim Simpson, Mike Collie, and Mike Campbell for pooling their monies in order for Bobby Bailey's band to be able to play for us at the dinner/dance on October 9th.

Update 8/21/10: Al Perkins, Class of 1962, and Connie Pittman Ramsey, Class of 1969, will also be making special guest appearances.

RE: Permian High School’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

The Graduating Classes of Permian High School would like to announce they are hosting the 50th Anniversary of the school to be held October 8 - 9, 2010 in Odessa, Texas.

The MCM Grande Hotel and FunDome in Odessa will be the official gathering site. In addition to the social gatherings, the group has planned attendance at the pep rally followed by a tour of the school Friday morning with a barbecue dinner and football game on Friday night, along with a golf day on Saturday plus an antique car show, followed by a banquet on Saturday night. Other activities are still being planned.

Along with your registration for this special event, the Anniversary Committee invites you to consider a unique sponsorship opportunity. These may be personal or company sponsorships. All sponsors will be recognized during the Saturday night program.

First Down Sponsor = $10 to $99 __________
Field Goal Sponsor = $100 to $249 __________
Touchdown Sponsor = $250 to $500 __________
Playoff Sponsor = $501 to $1000 __________

This is for the 50th Anniversary of Permian High School… Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend and help make decisions for a great 50th Anniversary Party… Plans are being set up to hold this October 8 - 9, 2010, during a football weekend at the MCM FunDome Hotel and Plaza… “the more, the merrier”, so please come and help us get this party kicked off with a lot of great ideas! If you cannot help, we are also looking for sponsorship donations for a DJ, decorations, and special events.
